Ronan<\/span> Carvill<\/span> is the first master\u2019s student to complete an applied internship at Southern African Wildlife as part of our \u201cSkills for Nature\u201d project. The focus is on the mutual exchange of knowledge: Ronan<\/span> contributed his expertise in education and science while also learning a great deal from the local team about wildlife and nature conservation in Africa. Textbooks alone could never have provided such direct insight into wildlife conservation and wildlife management. It wasn\u2019t just an internship\u2014it was the adventure of a lifetime.\u201d<\/p>\n Wendy, his mentor in college, also has very positive things to say:<\/p>\n “Working with Ronan<\/span> was a real pleasure.
